Wednesday, April 23 – One suspect, wanted in relation to the disappearance of a number of dinghies, was charged with taking conveyance without lawful authority.
Jamal Freeman made his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail in his own recognizance for a sum of $200 for his appearance on April 15. Freeman failed to attend that court appearance.
Freeman was identified among five young men seen travelling by sea from Trellis Bay toward Queen Elizabeth Island Bridge with three stolen dinghies in tow. All the dinghies were recovered in this incident however four of the five men still remain at large.
