Thursday, June 23 – While continuing to follow all lines of inquiry into the disappearance of Devern “Snoopy’ Stanley, Police is renewing its appeal to the public for information that could help with its investigation.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Alwin James explained that now is not the time to be silent.
“If you know anything about Stanley’s disappearance, tell us. We will follow through on all credible bits of information but it is important that we do so now. We need your assistance. The time to speak up is now,” he said.
Police with the assistance of the Territory Search and Rescue Team (TSART) have mounted several searches on Tortola since Stanley was reported missing on June 7. He still has not been found.
Members of his family stated that he was last seen Saturday, June 4 at the home in Free Bottom. Others reported seeing him at the Crystal Nightclub after midnight the next morning.
Persons who know the whereabouts or have information about the disappearance of Devern Stanley are asked to contact detectives of the Major Crime Team directly at 368-5682. Persons can also give that information to the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or report the information anonymously to Crimestoppers through its Miami-based hotline number 800-TIPS (8477).
