Red Bay Development Moves Forward


18-OCT-2014-RED-BAY-DEVELOPMENT-MOVES-FORWARDPlans to expand and make the Territory’s fisheries proficient have begun to unfold with the initiation of works at the Red Bay Re-development site. Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour, Ronald Smith-Berkeley said that works are moving along as planned. “We look forward to improved infrastructure for the Territory’s fishermen, and ultimately an improved BVI fishery,” He stated. Plans indicate that the Red Bay site will include a marina, boat ramp and dock reconstruction. The project, commenced through the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour, is a part of the greater East End, Fat Hog’s Bay Harbour Development Project. (Photo Credit/GIS)
