The BVI Tourist Board has secured the service of Connelly Partners (CP), a United States company, to assist with digital marketing services.
The announcement was made by the Boston-based advertising agency on Monday 7 December. According to the announcement, Connelly Partners has been awarded the contract to redesign, rebuild and relaunch the global web presence for the British Virgin Islands after a formal review.
It was announced that CP Travel, the travel focused practice within Connelly Partners will handle website design, development, content creation and SEO strategy, across six international markets. The work is expected to break in April 2016.
Director of the BVI Tourist Board, Sharon Flax-Mars was quoted saying: “Connelly Partners and their CP Travel group offered us extensive travel and lifestyle category experience, combined with a strong digital strategy and UX team… Most importantly, they really understand how travel behavior is changing and the role that technology increasingly plays in driving consumer interaction.”
Connelly Partners clients currently include American Express Travel, A&E Networks, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Babson College, Best Western, Foxwoods Resort Casino, Massachusetts State Lottery, Samsonite and SATA Airlines, among others. Through CP Travel, the agency has over 30 years of experience working with such destination clients as Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, Hong Kong, Barbados, The Bahamas, and Saint Lucia among others.
