Business Burglaries On The Rise

Thursday, May 29 – Police are recording a number of business burglaries with two eateries on Main Street being the most recent targets.

Both venues were reported to have been illegally entered on Tuesday morning with electronic items and cash taken.

Earlier this month, two other businesses were targeted in the Road Town area – one a children’s clothing store and the other a law firm.  Businesses in Trellis Bay, Jost Van Dyke and a supermarket in West Bay were also burgled during the month.

Two females, Liliana Baltimore, 22, of Sea Cows Bay, native of the Dominican Republic and a 14-year-old have so far been charged with burglary in relation to the incidents.
