Wednesday, November 19 – The Virgin Gorda Police have charged two teenagers so far in relation to number of vehicle related offences.
In the five recent reported incidents of taking vehicles four were detected and two teenagers were arrested with seven charges preferred between the two. More arrests are likely to be made in connection with these matters as investigations are continuing.
Head of the Virgin Gorda Division Chief Inspector Dennis Jones and his officers extend their gratitude to the Virgin Gorda community for assisting them in bringing about the arrest of these offenders.
“As usual, the Virgin Gorda community’s support in helping to identify potential suspects was readily available. For that we are grateful,” he said.
Chief Inspector Jones noted the need for the community to continue supporting the Police’s efforts to maintain the low crime rate in Virgin Gorda.
