Shooting At Violet’s Bar


On Saturday 16th July 2016, shortly after 3am, Police received a report of gun shot fired in the area of Violet’s Motel, Road Town.  Police responded and spoke with persons in the area, who confirmed there was a shooting.

Investigation revealed that a male in his early 20s was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash and shot by the attacker who was fully masked.  The male who was admitted to Peebles Hospital, has since been released.  No arrest has been made. Investigation into the shooting continues.

Police is appealing to persons who were in the area at the time of shooting to contact Chief Inspector Kartick at 368-5425 orthe Intelligence Unit at 368-5354, with any information that would progress the investigations.
