RVIPF GIVES GOVERNOR OFFICIAL SEND OFF

Gov-and-COPTuesday, July 22 – Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force held an official farewell parade in honour of His Excellency the Governor Boyd McCleary today as activities to mark his departure begin.

At the parade and inspection, led by Acting Chief Inspector Marlon Charles followed closely by Commissioner David Morris, all ranks of officers were represented on the grounds of the Althea Scatliffe Primary School.

The Governor shared his gratitude to the officers and acknowledged the improvements made within the organisation over the time he has been in office. He also shared his appreciation for the hard work that officers have put in to bringing about those improvements.

Governor McCleary will be concluding his duties as Governor of the Territory on the August 1, 2014.Gov-Parade-1
