Robbers Stage Attack Behind Riteway On Flemming Street Witnesses Sought


Tuesday, June 14 – Police are asking persons who were parked or walking behind Riteway Supermarket on Flemming Street yesterday evening to come forward.

Two masked persons came from the back of the building around 8pm and walked through the main entrance doors into the supermarket. One discharged a round of ammunition and demanded money from the cashiers. They then both fled the scene the same way they came with monies from two of the cash registers.

No persons were injured in the incident.

Police are asking for persons who may have been around the area or inside of their vehicles at the time of the incident to come forward and assist Police with their investigation into this incident.
