Police Confirm Sudden Death Of Tourist


Wednesday, March 2 – Police are confirming the sudden death of a 76-year-old male tourist.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the deceased had been snorkeling with his wife near the Indians yesterday morning when he told his wife he was feeling ill. He made it to a nearby boat with the assistance of those onboard where CPR was administered.

Members of Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR) took the deceased to Peebles Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
