Friday, July 25 – A Sea Cows Bay man is facing charges of failing to declare monies exceeding $10,000 and illegal entry after he was intercepted by Police on a motor scooter in Frenchmans Cay with a quantity of cash.
On Wednesday morning, Police reported seeing Cayma Carlos Nibbs, 32, onboard a grey inflatable dinghy heading in the direction of Frenchmans Cay.
Upon arrival he disembarked the dinghy and was intercepted as he mounted a motor scooter parked in the immediate vicinity. A search revealed that he was in possession of close to $33,000.
Today, Nibbs appeared in Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail in the amount of $70,000 for his appearance on September 26.
Police investigations continue.
