The recent name change from LIME to FLOW is not an indication of change in plans. In fact, the company is moving forward to fulfill some of the promises made under the LIME name, chief of which is the plan to bring FLOW TV to the BVI.
The company’s intent to provide residents of the BVI with a competitive cable TV service was repeated during the recent rebranding exercise.
In making the declaration that FLOW had arrived in the Territory, Tim Ringsdore, Managing Director for FLOW BVI reaffirmed the company’s intent to provide cable television services. He said: “The BVI can also look forward to Flow TV, which has been hugely successful in other Caribbean markets and will be launched in the BVI within the next year.”
In 2014 the company elaborated its intention to launch its subscriber cable television service in the BVI. The service is already available in some of the Caribbean countries where LIME/FLOW operates and Group CEO, Phil Bentley announced that this would be a great addition to the company’s offerings here in the Territory.
Mr. Bentley made the disclosure during a press conference on 20 August 2014 while he was on a familiarization visit to the Territory. He explained that the introduction would result in job creation and will provide customers with an alternative cable service.
