Another Motor Vessel Intercepted With Money Onboard


Thursday, October 8 – Officers of the Police Marine Branch and the Special Investigations Team, while on patrol, intercepted a 30 ft. motor vessel near Village Cay late Tuesday evening.

The boat and the lone occupant onboard were searched and a bag carrying a large quantity of cash was uncovered.

The money was seized and the occupant was interviewed and released pending a decision by the Office of Public Prosecution.

Early in September, a native of Puerto Rico was also charged after he was found on a small vessel in the waters off of Towers, West End with a travel bag containing a large quantity of cash.
