- Famous Swiss Painter Captures "Nature's Little
Secrets" On Canvas

- For the past three months thousands European art lovers have enjoyed
a special exhibition of paintings by
- renowned Swiss painter Elena Eng. The theme of this exceedingly successful
exhibition is "The Caribbean:
- sea, blue, light, colours". Quite a few of Elenaís paintings
depicting views and panoramas of the beautiful
- British Virgin Islands have attracted very positive reviews by famous
European art critics.

- Sponsor of the exhibition is the Lugano branch of Morgan & Morgan
which is celebrating its fifth
- anniversary. The opening took place on 22 April at the Hotel de la
Paix in Lugano, Switzerland, and
- continues at the offices of Morgan & Morgan in Lugano till the
end of July 1999.

- Mrs Eng was in Tortola last November on the occasion of the tenth anniversary
of Morgan & Morgan Trust
- Corporation Ltd in the BVI. At the time she was working on a series
of fourteen paintings with a BVI theme
- which had been commissioned by Morgan & Morgan. A contemporary
impressionist Elena Eng captured
- the beauty of natureís little secrets and then transferred them
emotionally and visually on her most
- captivating paintings.

- Having held more than forty exhibitions throughout Europe (Mallorca,
St. Moritz, Dortmund, Paris, and
- Zurich), Elena Eng is well-known in Europe for her paintings featuring
landscapes and portraits. She also
- specializes in 'murales'. Her passion for exotic locales is mirrored
in her many paintings now in famous
- collections in Zurich, Montecarlo, Geneva, Milan and Paris.

- Mrs. Eng's exquisite creations include a variety of mediums such as
acrylics, copper, stained glass and
- various textures that shed a vivid light or reflect an intense emotion.
When she visited the Virgin Islands it was 'love at first sight', she says.

has been able to capture the quintessential beauty of these islands in
a most unique fashion.
