Terminators hand Turbulence another Volleyball setback

After playing a five set thriller in their first match up, Terminators
relied on it's nucleus to beat Turbulence in four sets on Sunday at the
Belle Vue Gym to sweep their BVI Amateur Volleyball Association regular
season series.

After splitting the first two sets 25-16 and 20-25, Terminators lagged
behind for most of the third set. Trailing 20-22, they called a time out.
After the break, they scored four unanswered points to overcome a two point
deficit before beating Turbulence 25-23. They won the fourth set 25-18 to
stay unbeaten.

"They caught up on us and won that third set. We didn't play with enough
confidence and the game slipped away from us fairly quickly," Turbulences'
captain Andre Bratwaithe noted and added that they were not able to finish
some of their plays.

"The nucleus is back," Terminators' Elsworth Phillip said. "Frandy (Martin)
is back from injury; Doc (Denfield Solomon); Damien; Cushung (Osbert Pole( and myself, we are all back. We have been playing together since high school. If you add all that up that's 20 years of experience. Being down
22-20, we knew we had the experience, the fight within and the will to pull
it out," Phillip said.

"Terminators got in front from the beginning and we had to come from
behind to try and beat them. We need to play together and we need to play
with a killer instinct straight through," Bratwaithe said. "Our team is
more than capable of beating Terminators. Terminators are a winning team,
but we are capable of beating them. We just have to come out and prove that to ourselves."

Terminators have won all five games. While not focusing on an unbeaten
season, Phillip said the goal is to defend its title. "We have two more
games remaining with Just Pull Up and Raw Power and I don't see a reason
why we shouldn't win," he said. "We can possibly go through the whole
season unbeaten."

Improving Raw Power succumbed to Young Gunz in five sets 25-22, 17-25,
24-26, 25-19 and 7-15 in the other men's game. Raw Power 2 had a straight
set 25-16, 25-12 and 25-21 triumph over Raw Power 2K in women's play. In
the other women's game, Geriatrix handed Raw Power 2 K a 25-16, 25-12 and 25-7 setback.
