Bregado Flax, St. George’s crown inter-house champs

Virgin Gorda’s Bregado Flax Educational Center and St. George’s School
crowned their respective inter-house athletic champions last week. O’Neal
house amassed 519 points to repel Rhymer and Harrigan Houses who had 411.5 and 406.5 points respectively at BFEC. Division Champs: Junior Male; Kimani Stevens, Rhymer House, 35 points. Girls: Marizsta Sargeant, Rhymer House, 28. Intermediate Boys; Mckenzie Baltimore, O’Neal House, 31. Girls; Chantal Farrington, Harrigan House, 27. Senior Boys; Nichols Charles, O’neal House, 35. Girls; Tricia Browne, O’Neal House, 18. Victor Ludorum: Kimani Stevens and Nichols Charles, 35. Victrix; Marizsta Sargeant, 28. The Lions scored 290 points to win the St. George’s School title ahead of the Leopards who finished with 260. The Tigers had 242 and the Panthers 224. Division

Champions: Under 9 Boys; Romaine Ricketts. Girls; Shaquilla Blaize. Under 11 Boys; Damian Callwood. Girls; Marisa Malone. Under 13 Boys: Kareem Profitt. Girls; Shenique Frett. Under 15 Boys; Travis Fahie. Girls; Shané Rhymer. Victor Ludorum; Damien Callwood, 66 points. Victrix (tie) Shané Rhymer and Shenique Frett, 40.
