MURDER INVESTIGATION ENTERS NEW PHASE

Police continue to investigate the murder of Jameel Greenacre. The
forensic tests being undertaken in Florida have not yet been concluded;
therefore, the Commissioner of Police has asked for Superintendent Keith
Chamberlain, an experienced UK Murder Investigator, to undertake an urgent review of the investigation so far.

Police sources also stated that this is a standard procedure in high
profile and difficult murder investigations. The review supports the
integrity of the investigation whilst ensuring that any additional
investigative opportunities are highlighted in a time critical manner.

This review will include:

An examination of the forensic aspects of the case to ensure that all
forensic opportunities have been identified and are being progressed.
Ensuring that all investigative opportunities have been identified and are
being progressed in an effective manner.

Assessing whether the Senior Investigative Officer has sufficient resources
commensurate with the seriousness of this investigation.
Ensuring the Family Liaison arrangements are sufficient.

Superintendent Keith Chamberlain is a highly experienced investigator
formerly of the Cambridgeshire Constabulary who specializes in murder
investigations and has headed and reviewed in excess of 40 murder cases.
Police are again appealing for anyone with information concerning this case
to contact 494-6021 or 494-5088. We remind the public of our request also
for anyone with information concerning a ladies' outfit stolen from a local
shop to contact us on the above number. The two-garment outfit is a size
12 manufactured by "SWEET SUITS". The top is a short-sleeved ladies'
blouse with a red and white small checked pattern and the lower garment is
a deep red skirt of calve length.
