In a tune up for the Athens Olympics, Dion Crabbe sprinted to ‘Athlete of the Meet’ honors with wins in the 100 and 200 meters at the Frankie Colon Invitational in Ponce, Puerto Rico on July 17.

Though disappointed with his times of 10.57 and 21.02 seconds respectively, Crabbe became the second BVI athlete in three years to capture the outstanding male award.

Keita Cline, champion male athlete in 2002, finished fifth overall in the 200, covering the half lap in 21.75 seconds.
