BVI to play USVI in St. Croix in CONCACAF U-19 match

Following last week's 4-0 victory, the U.S. Virgin Islands will host the BVI at St. Croix's Paul E. Joseph Stadium on Saturday in their home leg of the series. The BVI would have to beat the USVI 5-0 for the right to advances to meet the Dominican Republic.

BVI athletes to compete in MLK Jr. Relays

Athletes from HLSCC, the BVI High School and others running unattached, will participate in Saturday's Martin Luther King Jr. Relays at Charlotte Amalie High School in St. Thomas. The meet begins at 5:30 p.m. Virgin Gorda hosting V.I. Football Association tourney Defending champions Virgin Gorda will host the Virgin Islands Football Association Tournament at the Valley Recreation Grounds on Jan 31 to Feb 1.

Softball rosters Due on February 5

The BVI Amateur Softball Association will hold a general meeting at 5:30 p.m. on February 5, at the Sports Division at which time registration fees, rosters and insurance fees for the 2004 BVI Softball Association season will be collected. Registration fees are as follows; Men's teams: $150 per team. Women's teams: $100 per team. School teams free. New teams, $200 per team. Insurance, $9 per player.
