ARMED ROBBERY ON
VIRGIN GORDA – TWO MEN ARRESTED
Police are confirming that two men
have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery report on Virgin Gorda
over the weekend.
On Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 2:19 a.m., a resident of North Valley reported
that there was an armed robbery in progress at Snake Hole Bar.
Investigations revealed that around 1:30a.m., while the owner and other persons
were in the game room playing cards, a masked man armed with a handgun
approached them.
The assailant threw a bag on the table and demanded that they place all their
money inside. The persons did as they were told, and the assailant fled on foot
in the direction of the Church of God of Holiness with an unknown amount of
money.
Subsequently, 22-year-old Aaron George of The Valley was arrested and charged
