ARMED ROBBERY ON VIRGIN GORDA – TWO MEN ARRESTED

Police are confirming that two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery report on Virgin Gorda over the weekend.
On Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 2:19 a.m., a resident of North Valley reported that there was an armed robbery in progress at Snake Hole Bar.
Investigations revealed that around 1:30a.m., while the owner and other persons were in the game room playing cards, a masked man armed with a handgun approached them.
The assailant threw a bag on the table and demanded that they place all their money inside. The persons did as they were told, and the assailant fled on foot in the direction of the Church of God of Holiness with an unknown amount of money.
Subsequently, 22-year-old Aaron George of The Valley was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery.
