BVI Volleyball teams at OECS Tournament
The BVI Volleyball Association is sending a men's and women's team to the
OECS Volleyball Championships in Antigua. The tournament runs through Sunday.
Weekend over 40 Softball Tournament
The Fryers Over 40 team will challenge their Under 40 counterparts in a
weekend fund raiser at the Old Recreation Grounds on November tonight and
Saturday, starting at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The St. John Ambassadors team has
also been invited to attend. Two Spanish teams will also be in the mix.
Revised College Classic Series schedule
With inclement weather canceling the November 15, fourth race of the
College Classic Series, organizers have revised the schedule. The fourth
race in the series will be held on Saturday, November 23 with the series
finale scheduled for Saturday, December 13. The series finale on Virgin
Gorda is scheduled for Saturday, December 6. The BVI Red Cross World Aids
Day Run is scheduled for Saturday, November 29.
BVI Amateur Athletics Association to elect new executive
The BVI Amateur Athletics Association will hold election for all positions
on the executive committee on December 4, at 5:30 at the Student Center,
upstairs the Cutlass Bldg. Interested persons are invited to attend and be
part of the various committees.
Virgin Islands Football Tournament Dec. 6-7
Virgin Gorda will host the upcoming Virgin Islands Football Association
tournament at the Valley Recreation Grounds December 6-7.
