History will be made Saturday, when the BVI sends its first team to participate in the 11-12 year olds Latin American Little League Baseball Championships, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, July 20-26. The BVI team is comprised of: Nelson Bell Ramirez, Jamaine Cotton, Jharel Cotton, Khari Fahie, Asim Francis, Tecius Frett, Sheldon John, Glenmore Johnson, Allison Leonard, Amal Maduro, Shamora Penn, Jaimi Potter, Bradley Simmonds, Malcolm Smith.
