TORTOLA—Virgin Gorda Soccer League champs Rangers walked off with a 2-1 over Spice United to stay unbeaten during weekend action at the Valley Recreation Grounds on Virgin Gorda.

Avondale ‘Avon’ Williams connected in the 78th minute giving Rangers the 2-1 edge. He was later yellow carded, as Rangers continued to hold Spice United scoreless over the second half for the victory. Rangers Alfred Reid, and Spice United Danny Joseph and Rodney Modeste also received yellow cards.

United Kickers got goals from three different scorers to beat winless Jamrock 3-0 in Sunday’s first game. Kenny Peters extended United Kickers advantage to what would be the final 3-0 score, when he broke Jamrock defense in the 67th minute. Jamrock mounted no serious threat of scoring.
