BVI Beauty to compete in Miss World Pageant
Nadia Harrigan, Miss World BVI 2000, will realise a once in a lifetime opportunity, when she leaves here on Saturday, November 4, to represent the British Virgin Islands in the Miss World International Pageant, to be held on Thursday, November 30, at the Millennium Dome in Greenwich, London. This Pageant should be a spectacular event as the Miss World International Pageant celebrates its 50th Anniversary.
Miss Harrigan along with approximately 90 other contestants will be visiting the Maldives, where for most of next week and the following week the television footage for the pageant will be filmed. She will return to London on 20 November for a series of rehearsals. The schedule of the contestants includes visits to the House of Commons and Lords and a Miss World Family Party.
