McMillen P.I. Adjourned

The preliminary investigation into the alleged murder of 34 year old New Yorker Lois Livingston McMillen has again been adjourned to July 25th, 2000. The case came up for hearing Monday June 5th and was expected to last all of June 5th and 6th and the morning of June 7th. The case was postponed on May 16th, because the forensic evidence had not yet arrived from Jamaica. The evidence was expected to arrive May 19th, however The Island Sun understands that it did not arrive. It is understood that only the autopsy report came. Last Monday (June 5th), two witnesses were called up and gave evidence. The prosecution then requested another adjournment. McMillen was allegedly murdered on January 15th, 2000. Four American men, Alexander Benedetto, Evan George, Michael Spicer and William Labrador, are charged with the murder. They have been remanded in custody.
